Three Cat Production's Cabaret on the Lake

Well guys, I'm back again tonight at Three Cat's "Cabaret on the Lake". I've read selections from "Much Ado About the Rocket Man" the last couple times, so I thought I'd switch things up a bit and read from my current project, "The Farewell Tour". 

"The Farewell Tour" is the story of Leslie, a 31 year old who, after careful consideration, has basically decided her entire life is meaningless. She has big plans to off herself in exactly one year's time (though she's still working out the details on how to go about doing that) but not before she completes a list of activities and visited all the necessary people on what she has decided to call her Farewell Tour. It's sort of her version of a bucket list, except a bucket list has fun things like "sky diving" on it, and her Farewell Tour includes tracking down her old college roommate so she can give back the sweater she borrowed her junior year and never bothered returning.

Let's call this one a dark comedy, shall we?

I'm still knee-deep in the first draft of it, so it should be fun to see what parts people respond to.
