Thank you to David Siegel at DC Metro Theatre Arts for the great write-up about Spirit Seekers! You can read the full article here.
A pandemic isn't going to keep the theatre down! Happy to share my first production with Dark Horse since becoming their Playwright in Residence: Spirit Seekers. A comedy written especially for Zoom (since we all live on Zoom now), Spirit Seekers follows an amateur group of ghost hunters as they camp out in the haunted and infamous Hunterville House, only to end up encountering more than they bargained for.
Directed by Natasha Parnian with Arianne Warner as Olivia Ken Giflillan as Ted Arden DiManno as Margaret Audra Jacobs as Ensley The show will stream on Saturday, July 25th at 8pm EST/5 pm PST. Run time is approximately 35-40 minutes. Tix available for free or donation at www.darkhorseva.com I am so excited to share that I have just been named the resident playwright with Dark Horse Theatre Company in Virginia! Dark Horse was the theatre that produced the regional premiere of The Value of Moscow back in 2018, and I couldn't be happier to collaborate with them once more!
Due to everything that's happening in the world right now, most theatre has been trying to figure out how to transition to an online forum, and I'm excited to say that I will be penning several plays for Dark Horse that will be written specifically for this format! (No plays about plagues, I promise.) Check back for updates -- should be fun! I am a lucky playwright to have not one but TWO plays being read at Theatre of Note's Ink and Drink this coming weekend!
THE HOSTAGE SITUATION: Saturday, 3/14 at noon CLOWNFISH: Sunday, 3/15 at 5:00 pm Both readings take place at Theatre of Note (1517 N. Cahuenga Blvd) and are FREE! Stop on by for some laughs and existentialism! So excited to finally be able to announce that I am one of four lucky playwrights to be accepted into Moving Arts Theatre's 2020 MADLab Play Development Series! We will be developing a completely new, full-length play through a series of readings and workshops, culminating in a public reading in September 2020. Stay tuned!

I love love love this group and always have a blast seeing all the shows. My short play One Fish, Two Fish will be produced this year, along with many other plays written by fellow female and female-identifying playwrights. What's not to love??
INKFest will run from March 27-29 in Los Angeles. For more information, and about 2cents Theatre in general, click here. You guys... I've finally arrived. I am a proud alumnae of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, and was beyond thrilled to have this little piece written up about me and how I've used my acting training to fuel my playwriting. Welp, I finally did it... I dipped my toes into the directing pool and directed my first short film! (I liked it... sort of. You guys, directing is a lot.) So proud to say that Employee of the Month will be making it's way to you in 2020!
