My sweet little play about two people meeting in the woods at night for non-nefarious reasons will be produced in a festival by Blank Page Theatre Company! If you are in NY in July you absolutely must check it out -- they are absolutely delightful!

I just found out The Taste of Emeralds made it to the semifinals for the Gary Marshall Theatre's New Works festival! Fingers crossed this little play makes it into the finals next month!
Overjoyed that my short play The Most Precious Thing continues to make the rounds, this time in Arizona! It will be part of Winding Road Theater Ensemble's Eight 10s in Tucson.
Directed by Gretchen Wirges and starring Linda Varela and Myani Watson. The Taste of Emeralds was given another developmental reading by Walking Shadow Readers Theatre. I am so so lucky to know so many talented people willing to lend their time and talents to help me shape this new script!

So so thrilled for the chance to get to work on my play The Taste of Emeralds with Garage Theatre Ensemble as part of their Fall Playwrights Intensive. Can't wait to dive into this script in mid-November -- looking forward to a week-long workshop that ends with a READING! The Taste of Emeralds will be read on Saturday, November 20th, zoom link and time TBD.
About the Play: Sisters Margot and Caitlin meet up at their mother's small, decrepit apartment to go through her possessions after her recent death. As the day slowly turns into night they begin to unpack the secrets of their past until the haunting influence of their mother throughout their years begins to look a lot like an actual haunting... SO SO THRILLED THAT MY PLAY FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF A CANOE JUST WON THE STAGE PLAY SCRIPT COMPETITION AT THE AUSTIN FILM FESTIVAL!! THIS FEELING CAN ONLY BE EXPRESSED IN CAPITAL LETTERS!!
